What you should know

1

Choose data to fit your daily life

At home and at work you mostly use Wi-Fi. Pick your data volume based on how much you are really out and about.

Example: If you are almost always on Wi-Fi, 3–5 GB is often enough. If you stream a lot on the go, you need more like 15–20 GB or above.

2

A 'free' phone is rarely free

If a phone is included in the plan, you usually pay for it through the monthly fee. Compare it with buying the plan and the device separately.

Example: Typical contracts run for 24 months — calculate the total cost over the full term, not just the monthly rate.

3

Local coverage is what counts

Providers use different networks, and quality depends on your region. What matters is coverage where you actually are.

Example: Check the network map for your postal code — a plan is only as good as the network at your home and on your commute.

Which plan suits you?

Three typical profiles — then compare.

  • You stream a lot on the go

More data or a flat rate — 5G if available.

  • Mostly Wi-Fi at home

Small data or prepaid — SIM-only is enough.

  • You want a new phone

Compare 24-month total with SIM-only plus purchase.
